TN High School Rodeo
Welcome to Tennessee High School Rodeo!
We are affiliated with the National High School Rodeo Association (www.nhsra.com) This site serves as your place for news, rodeo schedules, points and information on our great organization. THSRA is a competiitive arena of young men and women, producing state and national champions on an annual basis. Our schedule runs from September to June of each year with top competitors qualifying for the National Finals High School Rodeo in July.
The Tennessee Junior Rodeo Association is an organization of youth up to 8th grade. These girls and guys compete in mostly all events the high school competitors do.
Our youth are our future, thus we pride in being a family-driven organization. If you are interested in high school rodeo, give us a try!
Tennessee High School Rodeo events are for contestants in the 9th thru 12th grade. Students can join and compete whether they go to a public, private high school or are home schooled. Girls compete in barrels, pole bending, breakaway roping, team roping and goat tying. Guys compete in bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc, team roping, tiedown calf roping and steer wrestling. Points are earned for top 10 each event which accumulate to qualify for the National High School Finals Rodeo in July.
